Dr. Maria will be giving a talk at ANAD's 2012 Annual Midwest Eating Disorders Conference titled, "Who is the Biggest Loser? Weight Bias in American Culture" which will discuss identifying subtle weight bias and misinformation prevalent in American culture. You'll learn research-based information about weight and health that contradicts weight bias and coping skills to fight weight bias and preserve self-esteem.
